My Yeti Elegance is 11 yrs old by now with mileage of 1.07L kms in the Odo. Recently, I have got all the tyres changed to Yokohama Earth1 in stock size for ₹33k all inclusive. The entire set is manufactured in the 16th week of 2023. Cotton Spinning Equipment
And as an unfortunate update, lately the Yeti's front right (i.e. driver side) window glass stopped operating out of blue. The glass was stuck at full DOWN position and could not respond to the lifter button. So I'd to rush to my FNG to get the issue resolved asap.
It's really painful having asked for replacement of the entire winder assembly just for a breakage of a small plastic part/ catch in the Rachet.
Not surprised, when I first inquired with the Škoda ASC, the Winder assembly was not available with them as usual. So till the new spare part was received the door trim along with the Winder assembly was removed away and the Window Glass was fixed to full UP position for the time being.
Old Motor in working condition -
Thankfully the functioning of the motor was okay, so order for the Winder Assembly without Motor was placed with an estimated price of ₹4.3k for the Spare part.
Finally the new spare arrived yesterday and after it's replacement, the functioning of the window is back to normal. This entire job cost me ₹5k including labour charges.
